Energy

Energy
Dynamic cities like San Francisco need energy to keep them going, but how do we answer our everyday need for energy without wasting or depleting it? And what is our responsibility as a member of the world community to counteract the effects of climate change? The city has asked itself those questions and has answered them to the best of its ability, in the form of plans for energy self -reliance, improved air quality, and the reduction of greenhouse gases by 20 percent below the 1990 levels. We plan to achieve this through energy efficiency in buildings, transit alternatives, alternative vehicle fuels, and generating electricity with renewable energy.
